Description
Tempodrom Berlin is a multifunctional complex located in the heart of the German capital. It is a leading venue for a wide range of events, including concerts, musicals, circus performances, theater productions, sporting events, and conferences. Each year, it hosts approximately 180 events, attracting over 350,000 visitors.
The Tempodrom's history begins in 1980, when Irene Mesinger purchased a circus tent with an inheritance. In 2001, the building was reconstructed on the site of the former Anhalter Bahnhof train station. The architectural design by Gerkan, Marg & Partners retained the tent shape as a tribute to the historical past.
The complex houses two arenas—the Large and Small—as well as the unique Liquidrom area. This spa offers visitors the opportunity to relax in a saltwater pool accompanied by music from various genres and lighting effects. Guests can also enjoy a sauna, steam rooms, and an outdoor heated pool.
For those planning to visit the Tempodrom Berlin, tickets can be purchased in advance. A detailed schedule of events and schedules can always be found on our website.
