The Prodigy

The Prodigy is a legendary British band that has become one of the most striking symbols of electronic music of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Formed in the English town of Braintree, Essex, in 1990, the band changed the perception of dance music, combining beats, rock energy, and punk aesthetics into a single phenomenon known as "electronic punk."

The mastermind and permanent leader of The Prodigy is Liam Howlett, producer, keyboardist, and author of most of the compositions. He is the originator of the band's unique sound.
