The kickoff for the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League will sound at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium for Fenerbahçe and Roma. This is a long-awaited moment for the Turkish club: their path to the main round led through three qualifying stages, where the Istanbul team demonstrated character and a will to win, successively defeating Górnik Zabrze, Szturm, and Lyon. Now the "yellow canaries" face matches of a completely different level, and the meeting with Roma is the perfect way to test their readiness. Tickets for this sporting event are in huge demand - book in advance!
Paulo Dybala remains Roma's leading star and one of the most exciting players in Serie A. The Argentine extended his contract with the Roman club until the summer of 2026, confirming his commitment to the project. Donyell Malen, who opened his Italian league account with a hat-trick against Fiorentina, is also finding form alongside him. A defense strengthened by recent transfers (Balerdi from Marseille, de Roon from Atalanta) and a reliable midfield make Roma a dangerous opponent for any team in Europe.
Fenerbahçe is a formidable force on their home turf. The red-hot stands of Kadıköy, where every match becomes an unforgettable spectacle, the unique atmosphere, and the passionate support of the fans create conditions in which even the most seasoned visitors feel the pressure. Come to Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium and be part of Fenerbahçe's first Champions League match of the new season!
