Formula 1. Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025
Description
The Baku City Circuit is recognized as one of the most exciting street circuits in Formula 1. Architect Hermann Tilke designed this unique project, which runs through the central districts of Baku, combining the modern streets of the capital of Azerbaijan with the historic Old Town. The length of the circuit is 6.003 km and includes 20 turns, which poses serious challenges for racers.
This circuit stands out among its world counterparts for its technical characteristics. In wide sections, it reaches thirteen meters in width, but near the fortress walls, it narrows to 6.6 meters, requiring the highest precision from the drivers. The longest section runs along the embankment, where the cars demonstrate maximum speed. Formula 1 races in Baku invariably attract thousands of spectators.
Spectators can choose several areas to watch the race. The Absheron Grandstand is located opposite the pit lane, allowing them to see the start of the competition and the work of the teams. The Icheri Sheher sector offers the opportunity to watch cars on the challenging turns near the historic city center. The Azneft and Mugham stands offer excellent views of high-speed maneuvers, while the Sahil and Boulevard sectors overlook the long straights along the Caspian Sea coast. Opposite the Maiden Tower, spectators can enjoy the combination of modern motorsport technology and Azerbaijan's architectural heritage. Tickets for the Baku races can be purchased through our online service. Ticket prices vary depending on the selected grandstand and the visibility of the track section. The purchasing process is simple: select a sector on the Baku circuit map and pay for your order. Electronic tickets will be sent to your email instantly. Plan a trip to the capital of Azerbaijan in September to witness the main stages of the Formula 1 championship and see the world's best drivers in action on the high-speed streets of the city.
