Description
The Belgrade Arena, formerly known as the Stark Arena, is one of the largest multi-purpose sports venues in Europe and is located in the heart of Serbia – Belgrade. Since its opening in 2004, it has been built to meet all modern international standards and is designed to host a wide variety of events. The arena can accommodate up to 25,000 people, of which 18,386 can be seated, and also includes 70 luxurious VIP boxes.
The arena complex consists of six levels and includes a large and a small hall, as well as parking areas. The large hall is impressive in its size – its dimensions are 95.5 × 56.5 meters and a height of 36 meters, making it suitable for events of any level. The arena surface can be configured to accommodate various types of sporting events: from basketball games to track and field competitions.
In recent years, the arena has undergone significant modernization. In preparation for the Euroleague Final Four in the 2017–18 season, a state-of-the-art media cube and sound system were installed.
